I am willing to add a new member to my family very soon but I would need your help to solve out few of my queries. I am a resident of Kolkata, India.
I would like to know about good Pet Clinics/veterinary Doctors of the city..doctors who really know about dogs and are capable to treat the sick dogs properly with due care & responsibility. I already lost my last member because of some irresponsible n incapable vetenarian.
Secondly, as evident on every street, there are street dogs. And please don't take it as if I don't like street dogs..they are also equally good and have the right to live in the society. But as We can see in the society, a new member has to face many difficulties. The same applies in case of dogs. The street dogs won't accept my new member easily but that doesn't mean my dog will remain scared from his society. Kindly give some suggestions as to what and how can i make the either members comfortable.
I would also like to know about few good trainers. Alternatively, if you could suggest as to how I can train (my dog)Her myself, it will be very helpful. Which part of Kolkata, that doesn't matter for me, as I am ready to go any part of Kolkata for my new member.
I am afraid I am based in Mumbai but will try and get you some names soon. Strays gradually get used to new 'society members' and put up a token show of barking.
