What do I say about me & where do I start.. Ive been told Im patient & quiet the non-judgemental person & tend to go with the flow of things..!!!
What I do know for a fact is that Im a die hard animal lover & have been as far back as I can ...
kids can be rotten and its sad that the parents encourage such behaviour. I found myself smiling ear to ear when i saw the advertisement of some anticeptic soap. they show a small boy rescuing a pup from a mini garbage dump like area and his mother says something like "we teach our children to help others and we are the ones who stop them" i hope u do get to watch the advertisement and i do hope people learn a lesson or two.
Its strange how we dont see the obvious (and im sorry if my messages seem to be lectures). Recently i travelled to manali and rohtang pass. one evening while i was shopping, i saw this mosquito caught between a sheet of paper and instinctly wanted to smash it. the shop keeper caught hold of my hand, released the mosquito and said please dont kill it, let it live, its life is shorter than yours, all it can do is bite you. Well i dont say i totally agree with him coz id rather kill mosquitoes than get malaria, dengue or chickengunea. But i absolutely fell in love with his staunch Buddist philosophy.
Wish you all the luck you need and deserve for your association. I do hope u kick ass :D
you know its not always easy. we do have people who still believe that strays need to be wiped off from the face of the earth. the idea is to target the neighbourhood children and teach them how to respect life in all forms. the parents and others do tend to follow. the other thing that you could try is getting your friends involved in talking to the ppl at different vegetable outlets(to get vegetable waste) and creating a specific place where stray cows can come and eat from. people might ape you.im not saying its easy but its worth a shot. as luck would have it, jaipur has become conscious about animals in general but at times laziness gets the better of the concerned authorities.
unfortunately im not with any organisation. its not that i dont believe in any, i just believe a lot more in myself :)
wow!!! thats amazing!!! ive asked the people of my neighbourhood to become a little more aware of the strays and make an effort to feed them with at least the left overs instead of throwing it in the garbage.Ive also spoken to the management of Spencer and they provide the vegetable waste for stray cows, goats and pigs.
As of now i have but one dog, Buffy. Shes not too fond of dog food. She doesnt mind having pedegree as doggie treats but she prefers the ghar ka khana. So i give her an assortment of rice+vegetables+chicken/meat or chapati+milk/chicken/meat. She also enjoys fruits, slightly ripe bananas which are usually sweeter are her favourite.
